Fully-automatic updating:

On this page you can configure the fully-automatic updating for eXite_link.
With this feature enabled, new application updates will be installed automatically without further confirmation.

Checkbox "activate fully-automatic updating of eXite_link":

• "CHECKED": Fully-automatic updating is enabled and the configured maintenance scheduler set up below is active.
• "UNCHECKED": Fully-automatic updating is disabled and the configured maintenance scheduler set up below is inactive.

Configuration of the maintenance scheduler:

The maintenance window for the automated updating can be configured via the scheduler.

• WEEKDAYS: Checking the check box next to a weekday tells eXite_link that updating on this weekday is allowed.
• SET TIMEFRAME(S): Setting a timeframe for updating tells eXite_link that updating on during this timeframe is allowed.

Timeframe(s) are meant to be entered in a local time.

• "08:30-10:00" - The update will be performed once a day, in a time free from any other processings between 8:30 and 10:00.
• "08:30-10:00 22:00-22:30" - Two (or more) maintenance windows are open for an update. The update is performed in one or the other configured maintenance window in a time free from other processings.

Manual check for new updates:

Using the button check for update initiates the comparison between build versions installed and the latest available.
In case of a difference, the option to update eXite_link is given.

Installation ID:

Information about the current eXite_link installation. The Installation ID is individual and every eXite_link is allocated to one specific Installation ID.
Double-click on the Installation ID copies it to the clipboard.
